Wednesday Wedding Inspiration!

Why, hello again! So sorry I missed a week of wednesday wedding inspiration, but things have been crazy around here. We've had non-stop rain and tornado warnings (which is bad news for my internet connection) and are still trying to get settled in our new place.

With the Royal Wedding of Will and Kate merely hours away, I wanted this weeks inspiration to be inspired by royalty! Enjoy...

There has been so much speculation about what Kate's gown will look like! My friend Jessi swears she will wear sleeves and something form fitting, but I think she will channel Diana and go big and bold like this dress by Ines de Santo.
This table setting and flower arrangement are just beautiful, and fit for royalty. I love the gold accents and the flowers cascading down the cake.

Aren't these little crowns sweet! They are actually edible, and I think they would be great for a Royal Wedding Party!
A twist on Kate's dress (this model looks so much like her!)
I personally am not one for big ornate rings (no offense Kate), so I really love this simple sapphire stacking ring.
I can't wait to see how the wedding turns out, and to test my predictions!

P.S. Many of the images above are from Style Me Pretty. They put together an AMAZING Royal Wedding Inspiration photo shoot (they actually set the whole thing up just to take the photos) and I must say I think their styling is beautiful, and what I think the wedding will really look like!

Wednesday Wedding Inspiration

I've been completely swamped lately (we're moving tomorrow!!) but I wanted to stop by and post some quick wedding inspiration. I'm in LOVE with watercolors right now and keep thinking about how cool of a theme that would be for a wedding. Enjoy!

 DIY Watercolor Napkins, instructions here.
This place setting and tablecloth is amazing. I'm betting it would be a fairly simple DIY project too!
Watercolor Guestbook and Macaroons... yes, please!

I think this invitation is so simple and sweet. How fun would it be to make these and create a unique invitation for every guest?

Recent Work

I recently did a few family shoots that I have been neglecting to share... enjoy!

Owen was a man on a mission chasing after the ducks... I love his little hat that his mom made.

Cutest shot ever :)

Owen is such a little adventure seeker, he seriously has no fear!

Jackson was such a sweetheart! He was the one of the most cooperative babies I have ever photographed. He went through 3 outfit changes like it was nothing!

Sitting perfectly posed ready for his family shot....
He even picked himself up right on cue...
He always had an adorable pose for the camera!

the20

I was so excited to hear today that the20 now ships to St. Louis! the20 is a wine cask system that started off in restaurants in California and is now making its way all across the country. All you do is order a cask, and then you can choose to either join the wine of the month club, or you can purchase wines by the cask at a discount. The shipments come in 3 liter bags (4 bottles) and since they come from the cask, your wine stays fresh for up to a MONTH! Here's to never throwing away a half-drank bottle of wine again, Hooray!

Wednesday Wedding Inspiration!

It's finally warming up here and all I can think about is planting my garden for the season. Tim and I have started our plants from seeds a few weeks ago and have been patiently watching them grow in our windowsills. Now that its finally looking like spring I can't wait to plant everything (and then eat all the fresh goodies!) In honor of urban farming, this weeks Wednesday Wedding is inspired by farms!

Typewriter as a guestbook! What a cute idea.

Isn't the inside of this barn just BEAUTIFUL? It looks so amazing with the sun shining through all the cracks. I would love to see it at night with all the globe lights lit up.

For our wedding we used vintage apothecary jars with flowers in them for our centerpieces. We gathered the vases from various family members and friends which made it extra special.

Love her yellow sweater over her wedding dress!

I would have never thought of this! This couple used photos and cute sayings instead of your basic table numbers.

Eggs in a basket as a bouquet.

What a great idea for an outdoor wedding. Guests can easily find their table number, and you don't have to worry about placecards blowing away!
